Also the best deal I found on the cartridges was www.adverts.ie/other-bike-parts-accessories/20-x-16g-co2-threaded-cartridges-for-cycle-tyres/3765395Cheaper by a good bit than anywhere local and as far as I know the other web sites (wiggle, chain reaction etc) can't ship these internationally. I bought two boxes of 10 at €20 total as the shipping @ €6.50 was the same as 10, works out at €1.33 each, they're €3 a piece in Halfords and at least that anywhere else I've seen. |

While I was cycling in Gods country today I discovered a serious wobble in my back wheel.
I dropped it in to the new guy in Robbies place and he showed me two broken spokes
Dropped in at 12.10 fixed and ready at 3 pm. Brakes adjusted and cleaned cassette
The bill 10 euro
Can't recommend this guy enough.

He sent out these flyers a good few weeks back but I couldn't find him. Went down looking for a part a couple of weekends ago (which unfortunately he didn't have). But he seemed like a good guy, talked sense etc. ..... When I mentioned the club he was immediately prepared to start offering discounts ... mentioned €5 off the €25 "service". Said he was looking to contact the club about it. I couldn't really recommend him at the time as I hadn't gotten anything done. Good to hear you got good service Finbarr. His name is Fred, he gave me his mobile number (which I'll post later) as the land line on the flyer isn't working. 087 7627 420  |

Bike just back from Fred in Carrigaline cycles. I'm very happy with the service. Very fast service and very reasonable prices. I would recommend.

Im dropping my bike into Fred in the morning. Its clinking and clanking and making noises that bikes are not supposed to make. My own diagnostics suggest that it is either loose back spokes, wheel bearings or something along those lines or it could be something between the pedal and the cleat. Sound travels in mysterious ways on a bike. Ill let you know the outcome and hopefully the gentle hum of a pair of rotating wheels in the wind will be the only sound emanating from the bike. Your mission Fred , should you decide to accept it is to return this crafted piece of machinery to its former glory.....This post will self destruct in 5 seconds..... BANG

Got my bike serviced last week by Fred. Seemed like good value for €20.
When I dropped the bike in I reported that there was an annoying clicking sound - Fred seemed to think it might be solved by a small adjusment to the gears, etc.
Went out on the Wed night spin and all seemed well until coming back up the hill from Ballyfeard when the rear bearings started to make a lot of noise.
Brought bike back next morning - noise much more obvious even with no pressure. Fred said he had taken the bike for a quick ride after service with no problems. I noticed nothing when I went out on the Wed spin to be fair.
Fred apologised and changed the bearings for free and had the bike ready to roll in an hour or so. Did I a nice spin to Timoleague with Paddy, John, John and Finbarr yesterday and all was well.
Fred is very obliging and certainly was good for my basic requirements. Very quick service and very willing to help. Handy location too.
