Becareful if you are going out tomorrow!!! From Belgooly all the way up Ballyfeard and into the back of Carrigaline there is some sort of fuel spill and looks quite dangerous when the ground is wet. I drove up at 4.30pm today so im guessing not much will have changed in the morning.

All, the “Viaduct Hill” is closed this weekend. i.e. the N71 from Ballinhassig to Bishopstown Court, from Friday evening until Monday morning. Traffic will be diverted through Ballinhassig to Fivemile and on to the Airport. mapalerts.corkcoco.ie/en/latest/roads/item/cork-county-council-road-alert-28-07-2017-14656Given that Ballinhassig to Fivemile is one of our usual routes, from a safety and adding to the traffic point of view we may want to try and avoid that this weekend, with work traffic on Saturday and match traffic on Sunday. Other routes might be a better option or one possible diversion that direction might be … Out of the village by Pipers Cross, turn right for Heathburn Hall, right again at Heathburn hall and on to Riverstick, straight on through Riverstick and down the back roads into Innishannon. goo.gl/maps/iQuFDohZF4U2

Watch for ice Sunday Morning !!
Weather Forecast Munster - 06 January 2018- updated at 13:00
Tonight - Dry, clear and very cold inland tonight with lowest air temperatures -1 to -5 degrees with a widespread sharp to severe air and ground frost.
Tomorrow Sunday: - A cold, dry day with sunny spells. Highest temperatures 3 to 6 degrees with frost persisting through the day in shaded parts inland. Light to moderate easterly winds.
Suggest a later start for spins and watch of ice in the shadows.
Keeping to the coast on the way out, where the frost should be less, might be good.
Also might be a good idea to head east as there's a better chance that the sun might shine on the side of the road we are cycling on.
Be careful out there !!!

Hi folks, parts of the road between the Halfway and Crossbarry are very poor, broken tarmac and potholes etc. Just be careful out there.

Hi folks, parts of the road between the Halfway and Crossbarry are very poor, broken tarmac and potholes etc. Just be careful out there. Hi All, Have traveled this part of the road all week and unfortunately the road is not getting any better. A small bit of "repair" work if you call it that (loose tar and chip) has been thrown down by the council which in my opinion is more dangerous than the holes themselves. If anyone is traveling that part of the road be it cycling or driving please be cautious.
