HI all,
The Glencar Highlands Cycle is next Sunday 8th July. Departing 9am from Moll's Gap at the car park opposite Avoca Cafe.
Distance 115kms with 4 significant climbs including Ballach Oisin Pass and Ballach Beama Gap. Lunch in Waterville and a cold refreshing pint at the Climber's Inn.
All welcome including Yellows who have completed long hilly spins recently.
Please post if interested as we will need numbers to book lunch, another great day out with garanteed fine weather,a nd stunning views..

I will definitely do this spin if I can organise a yellow group to do it.

All , I am doing the Ring of Kerry on Saturday but will plan to join in on this on Sunday (assuming the legs are still up to it after Saturday ).
It sounds like a very good route .

A fantastic day in the Glencar Highlands, 8 of us Timmy,Lou,Shay,Ger,Jim,Paul,Annie & I headed off into the most scenic valleys and breath taking views of the mountains,a little overcast which was ideal for cycling,stopping at Waterville for a lovely lunch then to Climber's Inn for a well deserved cold refreshment.Great to see Jim's wife Catherine doing the cycle on her own & joining us at the stops.We all had a great day with great banter ''even" Annie who kept up with us, well done.Thank you Lou & Timmy for a great route, and a most enjoyable day.T   |

It was a super day out. Thanks so much to Timmy & Lou for organising a very tough but most enjoyable route with wow views all the way around the route.
What a great group to cycle with, thank you all so much for your support and encouragement During the spin, for all the times ye had to wait to hear “even Annie” was on at the back thanks a mil. I really do appreciate it.

Echo all of the above. It is defi italy the best cycling route that I have done in a while. The roads are quiet and like carpets. It had rolling hills, tough climbs and fast flats. Thank you Lou and Timmy for an excellent route.
