Great spin guys. Enjoyed it on a perverse sort of way. As a lot of us discovered ..there is no such thing as waterproof shoe covers.

Thanks again Noel for another superbly organised club spin. A great day out now that we are home and dry. The Norries rule today 😂

Well done to all that did today's spin in what were sometimes fairly Sh..ty conditions. CONSOLATION: Rule #9 If you are out riding in bad weather, it means you are a badass. Fair-weather riding is a luxury reserved for Sunday afternoons and wide boulevards. Those who ride in foul weather – be it cold, wet, or inordinately hot – are members of a special club of riders who, on the morning of a big ride, pull back the curtain to check the weather and, upon seeing rain falling from the skies, allow a wry smile to spread across their face. This is a rider who loves the work. Chapeau Trish and Eimear (great work guys ) and all in group 4.

Thanks Ger for doing a great job at leading group 2 today up to the point in Redstrand when that hail shower hit us! Then it was (group spirit my arse we're out a here!) Not by all I might add! Some of us stuck with you all the way. We were delighted to join Helen's group on the way home, big numbers made small work of the mileage in dismal weather. Well done to one and all and thanks to Muller for organising a great day out. 😎

Thanks Helen , Paddy and all of group 1 for a great cycle today against the odds , ye all managed to drag me up the hills on the homeward journey with the help of Ger and group 2 , much appreciated and enjoyed . I was only too delighted to hop into the car in Bandon and am sure the average speed improved dramatically post my departure , thanks all and to Noel for organising , cheers Trish

And then there was group 3. Which became 3a and 3 b. The weather didn't help admittedly but the rainbow ethos was lost very early in the day. A shame but still a great day out. Thanks noel for pulling it all together.

Great day folks very enjoyable. Thanks Noel for the organisation and to Helen and Paddy for the road supervision, we were as safe as houses in G1. 151k by the time I finished first big one this year and good company as well, delighted. Declan
