Hi all, With just a few sleeps to go to the club spin on Ireland's most picturesque peninsula where we have loads of history ranging from the "Children of Lir" to "Ireland's Last Chieftain O'Sullivan-Bere" to the "Copper Mines" of Allihies and of course Ireland's Premier Fishing port of Castletown Berehaven. If there are any dietary requirements i.e. Gluten Free bread or Burger & Chips ( ) please let me know so I can send word to Kevin and Miriam O'Neill in Allihies. I know there is one request for Gluten free but if there are more please let me know so I can arrange for you. I have enough food ordered for about 20 so Weather looks promising for Saturday no doubt the sun will start shining once we cross the border into Cork from Lauragh so bring the sun cream! See you then.

Hi all,
Hope ye have the factor 50 or the factor 6 oils at the ready for what promises to be a beautiful day in a beautiful area of the country! It has come to our attention that there is some kind of Vikingdom Raft Race on at the pier in Kenmare on Saturday morning so the place will be fairly busy. As a result we need to change the meeting point for the start/finish to another area in Kenmare.
The place what we are thinking of is the car park across from the church on Railway Road. Directions are as follows:
As you are you are coming into Kenamre, there is a new ring road called John Scarteen, take a right turn there and you should pass Aldi, Lidl and then Super Valu. At that junction take a left heading in towards the town and there is a car park across from the church on the left. From what I can remember there is plenty spaces there to park up.
See you there

Thanks to everyone for organising a super day today in Beara. It will be hard to match the weather, scenery and craic that we had today.

What a day out on Saturday, delighted everyone enjoyed the spin as a whole. As Paddy Mullen says "the sun always shines in West Cork"
