Hey guys! Watch this clip I posted on YouTube of what it's like cycling in Cork. Pay special attention to the conversation with the motorbiker at the end. I recognised him from various incidents over the past few years. m.youtube.com/watch?v=9oOlaPwUI_g

I think every driver should be made cycle a bike through the city just once.... they may then have an appreciation for how vulnerable cyclists are....
Obviously it's a 2 sided argument because some cyclists don't help themselves or the argument for cycle safety!!
Good piece John.

2 sided? Not in this case . This guy on the motorbike has been shouting abuse at me for years just for being on the road. He as much as admits it.

No I wasn't referring to you - it was a general view. We've all seen plenty cyclists not helping the situation but clearly that motorcyclists comments are beyond ridiculous. You'd think a motorcyclist of all road users would have an appreciation of the perils encountered daily.

This video for Academy Award consideration only. All idiots and idiotic events are not fictitious. Any similarity to other idiots either living or dead (more likely) or other idiotic events is purely coincidental.

Guys it appears my video has gone viral well in cork anyway. 1600 views and counting. The examiner had it on front of its Facebook page. At tracking some negative flak on YouTube comments. Could do with some backup.

Just had a message from a friend after he drove home from work to say that the roads are NOT SAFE for cycling.
